Wholeness is at the heart of a Sweetyoga Retreat.

These retreats help you go below the surface of your busy life where there is a wealth of body wisdom waiting to be unearthed. Through two daily yoga sessions, you will reconnect to that wisdom and extend its practical uses beyond your mat. With a calm setting and a purposeful vibe, you can go about your days feeling relaxed and cared for. Outside of yoga and the homey-friendly meals, you can chillout by the pool or saunter through the village, go wild swimming, have a massage or snooze! If a refresh is what your body, soul or spirit desire, our wellness retreats will aid your physical, emotional or spiritual reset.

BOOKING DETAILS

Whether you are a newcomer to yoga or a seasoned practitioner you will unearth new body wisdom. Our practices may feel familiar on some level, but these retreats provide the perfect opportunity to explore beyond poses and how yoga can enhance all areas of your life. The concept is to evolve your findings from the active morning practice and take that with you to the afternoon introspective practice for full integration. Discovering new knowledge about your being in a structured way invites inner growth past the physical which can be a real revelation. To hold you steady with all this post retreat, you will leave equipped with therapeutic tools, new friendships, wonderful memories and a personal yoga gift from me.

NUTRITIOUS & DELICIOUS

We serve nutrient dense, delicious vegetarian meals with an emphasis on a healthy microbiome to boost your mood. Breakfast is on a self-serve basis so you can start the day the way you prefer with all other meals being more sociable, served alfresco on the patio. We offer a selection of Portuguese wines and beer to go with your evening meal. We can adapt the menu for other diets but check at the point of booking.

HOME FROM HOME

From entering this villa you instantly feel its homely high quality. There is space in abundance on three levels and you can choose to relax in your large ensuite bedroom, or outdoors by the pool or patio. The house overlooks its own vineyard with fruit trees and the hills beyond, so you feel surrounded by nature but still have your comforts.

Situated on the outskirts of a typical Portuguese village, you will easily adjust to it’s leisurely way of life. Unique to this area is a beautifully kept river beach with bar/cafe where wild swimming is possible. This is a 10 minute walk away which is also our picnic destination on Tuesday. The village is well serviced with a chemist, supermarket, post office, cafe and cashpoint should you need anything. We chose this villa because it’s ideal for a group gathering, we also live in the area so we have the advantage of inside knowledge.

A unique retreat experience compared to others. I loved the intimate group, food, accommodation and it’s all such great value. Justine’s specialised yoga and Juliane’s exceptional massage has relieved my stress and sciatica.

10:30 Energising yoga: layered awareness on movement and posture – how that impacts our nervous system. Includes introduction and a juicy savasana
13:00 Lunch served alfresco (Tuesday – picnic day)
Free time to chillout, read, nature walking or taking a massage
18:00 Releasing yoga: various interventions to dial down what is overworking – invite and enjoy rest and relaxation
20:00 Evening meal on the patio

HOW TO BOOK

Pay £300 deposit with the remainder 45 days prior to the retreat date. If you book within 45 days the full amount is required.

Payment options via bank transfer, PayPal or a money transferring service. Please note we cannot refund deposits or transfer you to another retreat date. By booking you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
